About this oil:

The forest is an inspiring space of complexity with different views in all directions. For this oil, I set out to Intensify that feeing with exaggerated color.

Adding the yellow curtain of trees to the background amplified the image even more. All the while, the 5 foot span requires something to keep it interesting across the length of the canvas.

The purple foliage on the right, along with the array of colors in the foreground creates a graceful flow. It all becomes a dance with the tree trunks on stage in a colorful, expressive fantasy.
