About this original oil:
While traveling through the New Mexico Highlands, I often saw these lines of trees. Something in the rhythm of them, the way they repeated and receded across the land, stayed with me. Here I've let that rhythm loosen into abstraction, holding onto the feeling of the place more than its literal shape.
