Grateful Notices: Improv Landscape II, oil on canvas, 48 x 48 in.

Thanks to my dear friend in Arizona that purchased this work for her collection.

For what I call the Improv series, this is this second oil from that series that was started in a very expressive and bold way. There is the general idea of a row of trees but the colors in the first session were put in almost randomly and worked out later.

I was very much about creating a landscape with a great deal of energy, something that is a real presence in the room.
